Gooey skins are a skin that you put on your phone or tablet allowing the device to temporarily stick to smooth, glossy surfaces such as mirrors and windows. You are probably thinking what I was thinking – temporarily, how long is that exactly. According to their website, when Gooey Skins are pressed onto a smooth surface, a vacuum is created allowing the item to “stick” to the surface until you peel the edge up to remove it.
So, if you need to video tape a clip of you dancing to submit for an audition or an intensive etc., you could adhere the Gooey Skin covered phone in front of you on the studio mirror and film away. Not only that, but you don’t have to worry about the video not being stable or your friend moving slightly while they were videotaping.
And the price isn’t bad either – $20 and up depending on which phone you have or if it is for an iPad etc.
