Jump Dance Convention was founded in 1993 by Scott Benson and Andy Funk. It has since grown into one of the largest dance conventions in the United States, with events held in multiple cities across the country each year. Jump Dance is a convention that provides dancers with intensive training in a range of dance styles, with a particular focus on contemporary and jazz, as well as opportunities for dancers to perform and compete and to receive feedback and recognition from respected industry professionals.
